Climate Zine

An interactive and adaptable initiative to give communities actionable information about the climate crisis.

This generative research project began with open-sourced photography and relevant terms and quotes from leaders in the movement. Each of these assets is randomly coupled and arranged with a grid system. The climate crisis is an ever-prevalent issue and one that most in progressive circles are already aware of. The Climate Zine Project attempts to level with the viewer; most of us are aware of the climate crisis. This awareness requires a different communication method that empowers and incentivizes the viewer rather than repeating and pandering towards them.

This Zine functions as a poster for display on one side and a structured booklet on the other. The content is structured into distinct parts that asked the reader to sense, observe, and feel the impending causes and results of the climate crisis. It was structured to appeal to the subjective feelings and the objective facts of the global circumstance. Printed on Mowhawk 60lb ultrafine paper.
