Illustrator Scripting Tools

An integrated platform built into Illustrator to introduce randomness and parametric design into the program. Using a fundamental adobe illustrator/indesign tool, a set of scripts which can shortcut or generate parametric, code-driven results. These scripts are used to abstract, distort, and systematize any composition or artboard.

The scripting tools became Transform, Refine, and Complicate to take basic, grid-aligned forms and turn them into elaborate systems and visual networks. These scripting tools are meant to be redistributed, refined, and re-made to any users needs. Its very interesting and engaging to base a system around a designers needs, intuitions, or wants; these scripting tools shortcut the process and create generative, multiplicitous results.
