Pour–Over Coffee System ↙

→ Food–safe finished maple vessels, translucent 3D–printed resin, ultra–fine mesh, and vulcanized rubber gaskets to create a wholistic pour–over coffee system that fits into the home with ease.

The Winnow Coffee System was built around the needs of coffee–nerds and baristas. The product line is designed to work seamlessly together, but each piece is also made to work with pre–existing standards. The fluted surfaces intuitively signal touchpoints, the transparent components indicate the stage of the coffee brewing, and the articulating filter/funnel adjusts to the desired amount of brew.

Music Poster—Series ↙

→ Inkjet–printed posters printed on Mohawk Ultra-fine Paper (70x100 cm ea.) and NFC sticker tags combine to create a physical and virtual expression of the album Talk Memory.

This printed–matter campaign inspired by the music group BADBADNOTGOOD isaimed at translating the emotive and temporal qualities found in the group's music into typographic expression and heirarchy. How could a display-header begin to describe the nuance and dimensionality of BadBadNotGood's music? This series can be displayed both in printed, suface form and in augmented, 3D form (through Apple ARKit). By including this virtual aspect to this series, I aim to draw viewers or listeners deeper into the experience of viewing and interacting.

Late—Stage Video Series

→ A video collection of five 20–second vignettes featuring screen recordings, U.S. news headlines, and industrialized objects responding to the commoditization and deep– rooted sensationalization of the modern western project.

Late-stage is a collection that tries to dissect and obfuscate products of the capitalist system. By presenting various news clips, national events, and motifs in rapid succession, this video aims to mimic the vast disparity between what we're offered and what we need. Additionally, each (five) scenes offer an inadequate, product–driven solution to wicked, insurmountable problems {i.e. imperialism}.
